Ryuthu Ramakrishna

Ramakrishna grew up watching native grains disappear from local farms and plates. Crops that once nourished entire communities were replaced by fast commercial alternatives.

Concerned by this loss, he began reintroducing traditional millets and regional varieties into his fields. Many people doubted the decision. The yields were slower, awareness was low, and finding buyers was difficult.

But Ramakrishna believed these crops belonged to the future.

Over time, his farm became known for producing nutrient-rich grains cultivated with care and patience. His efforts also encouraged younger farmers nearby to reconsider the value of traditional agriculture.

For Ramakrishna, farming is not only about growing crops — it is about restoring balance between people, food, and the land.
